Just type “affiliate marketing” or affilate marketing guides and you would get instant access to loads to such products. Provide them your credit card details and voila! you can instantly download the book of your choice.
Although most aaffiliate marketing books are good in their own way, what boils down is to how you implement the knowhow you gained from it PRACTICALLY. Although this may take up some some time, it is to be noted that no books nor any marketing courses can come anywhere close to pure practical experience. Also check with the online ticketing companies like expedia, cheaptickets.com, orbitz, etc. If your location is a common enough place, you could sign up to their affiliate program and have a link to a page with great hotel rates, etc.
Adsense is another great way to get advertising revenue. You might want to experiment with using a bunch of these, but don't go crazy on the ads. Make them part of your website but not all over your website; otherwise, it's just too obvious you're trying to sell somebody something.

You do not *need* to form an LLC to start an affiliate business. Most affiliate marketing businesses are low risk, especially when starting out, so you'll likely be fine starting with a sole proprietorship to save on start up costs to get your business going. Then once you start making some money, talk to an account to see which business structure is best for you and you're situation.
Even with a sole proprietorship you'll want to keep clean and accurate financial records. Opening a separate bank account and using a separate credit card for business activity is usually the best option for this purpose.

Your right to an extent, but corporations don’t take into account their wider effect of society i.e. I’m fine with advertising if it convinces some guy to get fat and need a heart operation, but that’s gonna put my healthcare costs up. Fine if they convince some guy that oil isn’t destroying the earth or keeping brutal dictators in power, or will cause wars when those dictators don’t play ball with the U.S. but, those things are going to effect me and wider society.

Of these, I have done the best with Commission Junction, and then Amazon. It might have a lot to do with the nature of my site (art portraits, drawing) and that I have drawing books linked. Most of my income from Commission Junction came from Dick Blick art supply links.
It's pretty easy to integrate, but don't try to do a site that is only affiliate links, it must have content to support it and bring the traffic in. The things/companies you link must also have something to do with what's on your site in general.
I can also tell you that whenever you can set the affiliate displays up so they complement some of the colors on your site but don't fully match your site's background, they do better.
I don't know anyone who's gotten rich doing affiliate marketing – I get perhaps $40 per Quarter from Commission Junction, and perhaps $25 per Quarter on average from Amazon. But considering it's all 'found' money – didn't cost anything to get started and I didn't have to ship out anything, it's pretty nice. Can't complain!
I have found that if you concentrate on mainly working with only one or two of the affiliate organizations to begin with, you will be able to maximize the sales enough to get a check. (with most there has to be a minimum amount earned per quarter in order for you to receive payment).
Many of the affiliate companies have forums or message boards and you can learn a lot there from experts.

Well naturally I think Corporations are an abominable creation, local co-operatives would be a far more equitable solution. Checks and balances would have to be put in place, and the power of the central government limited. I’d also say that small government is usually only espoused by politicians as a way to weaken the central governments ability to protect it’s own citizens from private tyranny. The large corporations need to go b4 small government is viable.

Go to the Warrior Forum and search for popular threads. This will give you a good picture of what the most successful people are doing. Choose one strategy and stick with it.
Try to learn all the aspects of it.
For example, you can market Clickbank products with article marketing or blogging. Again, go to the Warrior Forum and search for free reports on that subject.
choose one, be focused and persisitent and you'll make money.
